"KATAKOLON" Katakolon by Lomma

Katakolon is a small harbour village with a fantastic strange beach.

This is the main entrance by sea to see the old and ancient place were they used to have the olympics in Greece.
A lot of cruice vessels are entering the port everyday.

The week before we came there was a big fire on Peleoppones as well as in Katakolon. Luckily for us we were allowed to leave the vessel.

We went jogging on this concrete beach, with a surface like a road. And you could actually drive a car and bus there.

The village itself - must be very dependent on the tourists coming in and they would very much like to sell to you.

The cafe's were very nice and the people were friendly.
