The Three Color Lakes

This island famous because of the magnificient “Three Color Lake –
Mt. Kelimutu” A Dutch Geologist discovered Kelimutu in 1914; at the
time the lakes were red, blue and white. Now, the color has change
several times. Every time I go there I always see different color.

Other attractions are the traditional megalithic village of Bena and
other traditional villages in Ngada regency (Central Flores), and
other traditional villages of other region; Sikka, Lio, Manggarai.

This Island is home to hundreds of different ethnic groups who
speak scores of languages, and is a sort of transition point between
the Malay and Papuan races.
