Parks: BIg Park in the Middle of the City
  • Tip Rating:
  • We were just walking around the city and stumbled across this place. It was so nice and it was actually quiet. Lots of people just walking, rollerblading or bicycling around. Take some food and have a picnic. I wish Seoul had something like this!

Chatuchak Weekend Market: The sweatiest shopping you will ever do.
  • Tip Rating:
  • I know there are a hundred tips on this market, but you really shouldn't miss it. You can buy pretty much anything there and cheap. We tried to find the area where they have monkeys and crazy stuff for sale, but we kept getting lost. Remember, this place is HUGE. Get a map, decide on a place to meet if you lose your friends, drink lots of water, and keep your eyes on your bags. The police there told us that people are cutting the bags off you and you don't even notice because there are so many people around you. Be careful and happy shopping!

    Address: Mo Chit Station, Bangkok
Directions: Simply take the Skytrain to the end terminal called Morchit which is exactly where the market is located.

Only one night - not enough! The park is probably Lumphini, incidentally. Cheers!

So no parks in Seoul? (I know I absolutely don't want to see a ping pong show. Yuckarooni.)
