Getting TO/AROUND: Las Vegas Limo is a very reputable company which the agency I work for deals with on a regular basis. I had a very pleasant experience when I used them! They provide round the clock shuttle and limo service to and from the airport to Freemont or the Strip. The Strip trip is $4.50 and $5.50 to the Downtown/Freemont Area per person. You can rent a 6 passenger limo for $40 per hour, with advanced reservation per internet if you want to cruise the strip in high style! You can also purchase pre-paid transfer vouchers from the company as well!

Getting TO/AROUND: I made the unfortunate mistake of deciding to look for a taxi as opposed to just hiring a private ride ahead of time or waiting for a limo ride. BIG MISTAKE. I got into Vegas Friday nite at 11P, which was 2A here. I had worked all day and was beat... I followed the signs to the ground transport area, opened the door and found a line from there all the way back to Detroit. I stood in line, sweltering hot, and exhausted for about 25 minutes till I finally got a ride. The taxi drivers in Vegas are CRAZY! Fast fast fast! I like to drive fast, but not in bumper to bumper traffic. I know my way decently around Vegas, and I felt that this cabbie took a longer way than necessary, and the ride ended up costing me $10.70, plus tip! I could have found 3 more people to go in a private limo with me for $10 each in THAT line! If you go to the Las Vegas Limo Website (see my other transportation tip) You can get a private limo with baggage claim pick up for $40 for an hour... That is what I am doing in July. If you can find 3 others to share the limo with, you can actually get off cheaper and more convieniently...

Getting TO/AROUND: A free shuttle can be caught at the Barbary Coast which runs to Gold Coast. From the Gold Coast you can walk across either corner to either RIO or The Palms. Very well worth it if you are a gambler, The Palms is listed as the #1 payout slots and Gold Coast is in the top 10. The shuttle runs 24/7!

prandall Tue Mar 20, 2007 15:24 UTC We tried to eat there on our way home and I have never met so many rude waitresses in my life. They were so busy but instead of the waitresses helping each others, some were just walking around and every time we asked they said that was not their table. | Dumpymotel Sun Oct 3, 2004 09:29 UTC Hehehhe..
