I have been to and through 21 of the 48 continuous United States, and parts of Canada. I have yet to leave US soil, but if you ask me, America has a bounty of travel opportunities!

Besides travel, I enjoy art, music, photography, computers, sewing, blogging/writing... Just about anything creative! I'm also always up for a night of fine dining and entertainment such as a musical or concert.

I've lived in Michigan, USA my entire life. I was born roughly 10 miles from my current home. I've had intentions of moving away from the area for most of my life, and hope to head south or west where there is more agreeable winter temperatures and a better economy...

My favorite place on the planet thus far is Las Vegas! I feel like I really belong there. You have all the glitter, glam and excitement of the strip, and just a few minutes away you have the silence and solace of the mountains. Never a dull moment, or complete solitude, dependent upon your mood! Vegas has world-class entertainment, dining and accomodations, what more could you ask for! (That and the low temp for January is 32 degrees compaired to the whole 0 here!)

I also really enjoyed going through Colorado. We had a snowball fight in July in Rocky Mountain National Park, as well as observed Big Horn Sheep and Mule Deer in the Valleys! Chipmunks come up and eat from your hand! We also visited the Mesa Verde ancient cliff dwellings, which were carved by indian peoples in the side of the mountain! Amazing!

I have been to every state in the south east US. My grandparents are from KY and I have an uncle in GA, so many summers we drove I-75 and stopped at attractions like Smoky Mountain Nat'l park, Cujo's Cave, Gatlinburg and Stone Mountain!

For 2008, we are currently talking about yet another trip to Fabulous Las Vegas, although we intend on staying downtown this time around. Although I've been to the Fremont Street Experience, I've not stayed at any of the hotels in "old Vegas". We know that Four Queens has a good Keno lounge, we intend on staying there so far :)

As well as Vegas, I'm hoping to make my first trip to Atlantic City this year with one of my friends I grew up with. She's aware of some cost effective package deals available, including air and hotel stay for 2 nights at Harrah's, so we will see ;)

I have received many comments already on my photos. Photos labeled by Carrie Ann Seal were created and are copyrighted by myself.

I use a Nikon N65 SLR body and Tamron lenses, Vivitar flash, Hoya and Cokin filters and Tamrac travel camera bags. I also use an Olympus D535 digital for snapshots. I have never had any formal photography training.
