Lillehammer is a town made famous by its hosting of the winter Olympics in 1994. It also has some of the most famous alpine ski tracks in Europe. This quiet little town makes for a nice day trip from Oslo, since it is only about 2 hours away by train.

I was there on a very relaxed Sunday and things were unbelievably quiet!! But not liking the crowds, for me this was definitely a plus ;-)

    Like the church picture.......atmospheric And did you find that beer???..........from experience very very very very expensive.....you make it last!
