Mdina ... the fortified Silent City - Malta

Malta is a tiny speck of an archipelago in the middle of the Mediterranean, where incredible cultural and historical heritage meet beaches and stunning countryside, where the people inhabiting the narrow streets in small villages are friendly and speak perfect english (apart from the Maltese language of course) and where the pot-holed roads always lead to some interesting, unique place.
