Welcome to New York where hip hop originated. I don't care where you are from, if you love hip hop, you gotta have mad love and respect for NYC. From the Boogie Down Bronx to Bed Stuy, the flavor is here and it's year-round. There are good shows every night, you just have to know where to look. S.O.B.'s, B.B. King's, and Knitting Factory are just a few places that feature the occasional 'big' underground shows in Manhattan, but there are tons of little spots to get your groove on in Brooklyn. Southpaw and Stinger Lounge are a few.
