The area around Kilimanjaro contains an astonishing mixture of things to see and do. Kilimanjaro, itself, is the highlight of the area, erupting out of the surrounding jungle to a high point of 19,340 feet (5,895 m). Jungle with flora and fauna galore as well as cultivated land, particularly bananas, coffee, and vegetables, fill the remaining area.

Whether you are interested in climbing Kili or not, this is an incredible place to visit.
