For most visitors, South Paris isn't so much a travel destination, as a town you might pass through on your way somewhere else. Being right on Route 26 in Maine, the area sees a lot of traffic headed to nearby ski areas, hiking trails, and even beaches. Admittedly, we wouldn't be there nearly as often if my parents didn't live in the area. Since they do, however, we make pretty frequent trips north, and are never short of things to do. |

A.McLendon Sun Oct 16, 2005 19:45 UTC Hello, I grew up in South Paris and graduated from Oxford Hills High. The area is so beautiful, especially in the fall. I long to return to Maine someday. | ladyanne Thu Sep 15, 2005 14:27 UTC Hi there..spent time in S. Paris area years ago.
