| They did a good job when I went there... |
| | The oldest barber shop in town Singapore's one of the major cities I visited which I will always remember to be the cleanest... but that counts for all of us who went there... What marked me when visiting Singers was the friendliness and the openminded culture of the people. I love that city and always said I would love to be there for a longer period of time, because I only had 2 four day stops there... pitty |
Singapore skyline Singapore has a typical modern skyline but with the blue sky behind, I felt it was worth taking a picture from. | | |
| | Shopping Singapore is one huge shopping center... you can't walk 5 minutes without seeing one. But that's something amazing and funny cause these are great places to hang out if you don't know what to do.
Something that impressed and even struck me was the fact that when people leave those shopping centers, they are so disciplined. They actually form a queue in front of the entrance to wait for a taxi, and everyone just stands there patiently waiting for their turn. My undisciplined roots showed when I had been standing there for about 20 minutes and walked down the street to stop a taxi a bit earlier... Why can't I be as patient as the Singaporeans ??? sigh... |
