Welcome to my Funchal, Madeira page. On 22nd of March 2004, I moved to Funchal to go and live there. I received an appartment from the company and have a 8 to 5 job in customer care. But this is not why I am here of course. I always dreamed to live near the ocean and well, now I do.
I didn't expect the place to be as enchanting as I figured out recently. Although the islan is short on Beaches, it's got plenty of things to see and do. Life is nice here and the weather has turned out to be quite nice too. In the beginning it was a little bit cloudy but now, summer has arrived and it looks like it's here to stay. |

just got back from visit to madeira and must comment on the O FUNIL restaurant in Funchal town centre. It is excellent value and has fantastic staff including the owner louis and his wife, Antonio and the gorgeous Miss portugal lookalike Sonia. | LanaFromRiga Wed Jul 21, 2004 13:11 UTC
