There are places in Vegas that require you to wear a shirt and shoes. But for the most part, Vegas is very casual. And that is good, because you are likely to walk a lot and eat a lot (2 of my Vegas hobbies). If I have to wear expensive suit and tie in a restaurant, my head will probably explode like my fellow diners in the photo.

Those who have a gambling problem should stay away from Vegas. If you gamble your life away in this sin city, I'm not sure how much Jesus can help.

If there's one thing I think Vegas needs to clean up, it's got to be the porn advertisement. Walk along Las Vegas Blvd (the Strip) and you inevitably will encounter many "porn sales" distributing adult advertisement or business cards. It makes the city distasteful. I mean, who needs adult advertisement? If I need adult service, all I have to do is hanging around the bar in any casino after midnight to get hooked. Besides, when I see so many people distributing porn advertisement for a living (mostly Mexican immigrants who speak little or no English) I worry about the city's state of economy.

Vegas is surrounded by desert. If you plan to drive to Vegas, make sure your vehicle is in good condition. The cheap bus I took got a flat tire near Barstow. There's no spare tire in the bus and the poor driver drove around Barstow with no luck finding a tire store carrying the correct size. Finally a passenger phoned AAA to locate a tire for the driver and got it fixed. But it was already 3 hours later.

i saw the Venetian hotel/Casino in a TV show. Gondola ride , very interesting, hope one day i will be there :) |
