Update (9/6/2003): Glad to see my local newspaper Los Angeles Times ran a special on the Isle of Wight this past Sunday (8/30/2003). Some of their cliff shots were taken near my favorite Tennyson Down.
I have to say I don't know much about the history, the people, and the land of the Isle of Wight. On November 4, 2000, after staying in London for 2 months, I made a day trip to this island on the south coast of England. Not sure why I picked it, but it turned out brilliant, especially the hike across Tennyson Down. This is my last weekend in UK, and I had a wonderful time on the Isle of Wight. |
