Prague | Prague: The river and beyond |
Well its probably all been said before, but Prague was a surprising city, which we explored willingly! Almost around every corner was some surprise: historical links, fascinating architecture, wonderful old churches, and great art. The Castle of course, and all the old historic conections, but also the modern history, the remenents of communism. |
|  | A Surprising City We went to Prague for a Music Festival, not appreciating until we got there all the other things it had to offer. In particular, we loved the Art Noveau architecture. We walked past this door every day on our way to our hotel. I was fascinated by it! It was a clock, but it had stopped, shame! |
