Sabah, The Land Below The Wind

Kota Kinabalu, is the gateway to the wild nature of rain forest. From the sea level to the summit of mount Kinabalu, Sabah has it all, for both adventurers and natural lovers.

Sabah located at the northeast of Borneo island, the third largest island in the world. With its tropical climate, Sabah has one of the world oldest rain forest and most of it are unexplored.

I only spent 5 days in Kota Kinabalu. There are much more to see and explore in this place but I only managed to go to Mount Kinabalu and Tungku Abdul Rahman Marine Park. I should spend more time here try other adventurous activities like water rafting, jungle trekking in deep forest, cave exploration and fishing.
On my summit trail
I took the challenge to climb the highest mountain in South East Asia (4095.2m). It was so good on the top, but the process to be to the top is hard. Or maybe I just wasn't fit enough and should work harder.
I enjoyed my trip in Kota Kinabalu and it was one of the best trip I have. Away from work and busy city life, this trip offered me a very relaxing and quiet time. Watching the sunrise from the peak of Mount Kinabalu to sunset on the beach in islands, i fall in love with this place.

Will I return to this place? Of course! And very soon, i guess!
