Quba is one of the most beautiful places in Azerbaijan. It's located about 200 km to north from capital and bordering with Dagestan (Russia). Quba is famous with its apple gardens, forests, springs and tallest mountains in Azerbaijan called Shadag (Shah Mount). On your way to mountains from Quba city you can find resort centers and restaurants. There couple of ways going to mountain and all the roads stretch through the forests. The highest mountain is Bazar Duzu(Bazaar Field or Plain). Bazar Duzu used to be a market spot in ancient times and got it's name from there. On the way to Bazar Duzu located village named Khinalig. Khinalig is the highest human settlement in Europe and village has its own language. |
| | Long Forest It was a beautiful sunny day in February. The snow was melting under the winter sun lights as it was giving to know that spring is coming. I got up, washed my face with icy spring water, ate my organic breakfast with fresh milk, got my two mega pixel Canon camera and climbed up on the top of Long Forest to take a walk and shot some pictures. |
