    • Although it was too cold to go into the water or lay on the beach the last time I was there, I have spent many a day laying on this beach, tanning and yes, even swimming occasionally! Generally, New Enland beach water is WAY too cold for my tastes but I'll never stop visiting beaches - any beaches!

    • There are picnic tables along the boadwalk and you can bring your lunch and have a lovely time!

    • Everyone should enjoy or relive childhood by taking a ride on the carousel at Nantasket Beach. I'm told that the horses on it are all original and if that's true you can tell as some of them have cracks along their surface.

    They play that fun and typical carnival type music and it's housed in a gazebo like structure which has openings all around it so you can get a pretty scenic view while riding!

    Remember: You're only young once but you can be immature forever....

    • Went to a wedding at Raffael's at Nantasket Beach which is part of the Nantasket Beach Resort & Spa and it was a lovely spot for it. The room has ocean facing windows that wrap around it so you see the beach and the water from every table. The colors of the room are mellow so you can infuse your theme colors easily and even if the power goes out (as it did for about half an hour during my friends' wedding) the room has some emergency lights and the staff will quickly bring out votives so that you and your guests can have an intimate candlelight dinner like we did!

    Oh, and the food was yummy from the appetizers to the dinner and the staff were very friendly too! I would recommend this spot for anyone looking to host an event with a beautiful backdrop that's not too far from Boston!

    Plus, it's a hotel too. Guests can stay overnight if necessary....

     I used to come here with my room mate and her sister. Some pervert was taking pictures of us here and a cop confiscated his camera. It was freaky.
