Brussels was the last travel stop of our "Fog and Food" tour. We drove there from Epernay, France arriving in the afternoon. After leaving our bags at Alan and Flor's amazing Townhouse, we were taken to see the downtown area. I need to go back to Brussels. Not only do I think that Grote Market may be the most beautiful European Plaza I've ever seen, but I was so impressed with what I got to see of this amazing city. Alas, our journey was almost at an end. After one of the best night's sleep I've ever had (Thanks, guys!) we went back to Leiden! |
| | Strolling in the Rain... What can I tell ya? The fog and clouds and rain were determined to accompany us on our trip. Actually, I really like walking in rain. That, plus the excellent company made me not even think twice about the weather. And as you can see, we were ready to brave the elements! |
Guilty as Charged This is Cuna, the craziest Boxer I've ever met! I'd bought some bags of Nougat for my mom while in France and left them in my room with the door shut while we went sightseeing.
Big mistake. She opened the door, ate the Nougat AND the plastic wrap it came in. And it never even made her sick...
I don't see any remorse in her eyes. Do you? | | |

Nemorino Thu Sep 17, 2009 22:47 UTC Glad you enjoyed your brief visit to Brussels. I kind of like the rain, too, but I was glad that it stopped for one day while I was in Brussels so I could stay dry while riding around on my rented bicycle. | wandeljp Sat Jun 13, 2009 16:24 UTC Belgium have more to offer than Brussels in the rain ;-) But it's nice to see things you know with other one eyes. Thanks for sharing. JP | spgood301 Mon Mar 20, 2006 21:17 UTC That Sagrada Familia pic is the result of a crappy camera...I think it had a coke bottle lens heeeheeeee | VeronicaG Tue Mar 14, 2006 19:20 UTC In choosing between the velvety chocolate and the delicious waffles I'd be in real trouble...hmmm, which one!! |
