It felt almost like a dream to return to Madrid after 25 years. Between 1982 and 1986 I lived, on and off, there. My parents had a condo in the Charmartin area and I split my time between this beautiful city and Pennsylvania, where I was going to school.
My last visit to Madrid was in 1986 but I've never forgotten my time there. To return, after so long, made me wonder if I'd truly appreciated its beauty when I was younger. My memories have always been of an enchanting place but seeing it again, it somehow seemed brighter, larger than my recollections, and breathtakingly gorgeous.
I won't wait another 25 years to return.
Are sometimes the trivial, if not, jovial kind. How can you not expect a great time when they place "MAD" stickers all over your belongs? : )

lots of good photos!! I didn't get many on my last trip, as I was there such a short time before going south and it was raining half the time....SO, need to get back again! it had been ar 25 yrs for me too!

Your in trouble now! I want to go to Madrid! I know by your lovely photo's that I would really enjoy this city. I think the Doll's are by the same manufactuer. Our photo's are would be nearly identical if taken closer up, Loved your page!
