After years of saying that I need to return to Paris I finally did, back in June.

And I went to Versailles too!

I think my pages are now complete. But you never know do you?

Michelle and I have been friends for almost 20 years. And yet, in all that time, we'd never travelled together! When she decided to spend a month in Paris - for college credit, no less - how could I NOT join her for a week?

I was so happy that Brian and Jeroen came over from Holland to join us for the weekend!

This summer I've taken a few local road trips and tried to not only appreciate the beauty nearby but to channel the history all around me.

I found VT as a result of researching my first solo trip, to Amsterdam. That's why I'm keeping this picture on my homepage. That plus the fact that it makes me laugh.

I was taking a canal tour and as one does when one travels alone, I asked someone to take my picture. He was sitting across from me and my intent was that he take the picture from where he was. But noooo. He stood up, he moved back, he moved up, he aimed up he aimed down. He probably thought I wanted his family to be in the picture with me. Maybe he thought the family wanted to be in my picture. The result is what you see here. It looks as if I farted and everybody knew....
