Tourists, tourists and more tourists!

It seems like this island was created for tourists. Everyone, in one way or another, is involved in the industry.

This is a place to do all the touristy things like a Thai massage, elephant safaris, snake shows, water activities and shopping - miles and miles of shopping!

The night life is jam packed with street markets selling anything from food and trinkets to photos with wild caught animals and 'ladies of the night' - just be sure it's actually a lady! Some are very very well disguised.

Phuket has gotta be the tropical destination for those who want an active holiday as there's just sooooo much on offer here.

Pros and Cons

Pros:The plethora of things to do - you will never be bored.
Cons:The tourists and the tourist prices.
In a nutshell:After coming here, you'll need a holiday to recover from your holiday!
