"Quebec City - The Oldest City in North America" Quebec by rmdw
Quebec Travel Guide: 1,960 reviews and 3,218 photos
This beautiful hotel is the most recognizable building in all of Quebec City. From far or near it truly is magnificent!
Le Funiculaire is a unique elevator that goes up & down between the old port and the rest of the city. If you're taking it for the first time try to get in last so that you'll be right up against the lower window to take spectactular photos of the scene below.
This glorious mural is on the side of a building in the old port area. It depicts what might have been going in such a building long ago.
- Pros:One of the most beautiful, historic cities in North America
- Cons:Absolutely no negatives on both of my visits there
- In a nutshell:An absolutely glorious place - A Must See!

G'day Robert, an interesting page and great photos of a place I hope to visit one day. I'll avoid the pool I think!
So when you stop being mad at me, will you help me plan my trip to Montreal and Quebec City? ;-) BTW I think your scar looks like a chess piece

Hi Robert, I am heading to Quebec the first week in February to experience the Carnival for the first time, you have some great tips, thanks for them, Happy New Year too :-)
Thanks, Robert, for the delightful tour of historic Quebec. It's a place I must see soon. Yes, a seahorse (remind me to tell you about my seahorse birthmark!) Extraordinary hotel tips.
Most interesting page. I love the architecture of the old houses. Some day I will go back and visit Quebec City in the winter. It must be so beautiful. Jeannette p.s: do you still have the scar on your forehead. That story made me laugh...sorry!
I think Ivan's ex-girlfriends would've blended well in the Fremont District in Vegas, Robert - oh, and to answer your ?, the guys we encountered in Vegas are still alive, but several are now wheelchair-ridden, alas! -cat
Excellant page, nice narration, beautiful phtographs and nice tips.
