These deer roam free on the island. Most beautiful!

aha, indeed you've been here. i love kayaking, so next time i'm here i ought to go. Yes you must go to Vashon sometime. I think it's about as isolated as you can get with such proximity to Seattle.
Those are Black Tailed Deer of the islands, a bit smaller than the White Tails of the mainland, delicate and pretty. Nice kayak shot, looks like fun!
