This beautiful photo was taken by a friend of mine, Kim, on one of her trips to the city - obviously prior to Sept. 11, 2001. One of my favorite things about NYC is something you can't even see ... but just hear. Every evening, from 10pm to 1am on 770 AM (on the radio) is the absolute BEST radio show I've ever heard on the planet! It features a gentleman named John Batchelor. I often refer to his show as "The Economist of the Airwaves" - very interesting and extremely informative!! You can also listen to it online before you ever get to New York City. |
