Tinfou Dunes-Zagora-Morocco

These amazing little amout of dunes (comparting to other of course) are something very special to see in Morocco. The sourrounding landsapes of the Fraa Valley makes this place a unforgetable one to your eyes.
Tinfou is also acalled as the dunes of the gold sand (opposite to merzouga dunes to be "dunes of the orange sand"), its more goldish colour makes it very beautiful to see.
These dunes are located where the Draa gets a bit more dryer than the usual and all the way to Mhamid get a bit more warmer.

Chefchaouene-Rif Moutains Morocco

Chefchaouene-Rif Moutains Morocco

Chefchaouene (literally "look at the peaks" in Arabic) is an enchanting town sitting at the foot of the Rif Mountains. It is a unique place to visit for various reasons: it is small and manageable yet friendly to tourists; the mountain air and atmosphere are relaxing; and one can catch a glimpse of rural life while hiking in the surrounding mountains.

marrakesh morocco africa - Africa

marrakesh morocco africa

Marrakesh Morocco

Marrakesh known as the "Red City" Marrakesh is the capital of the south. The atmosphere is distinctly more African than that of the other Imperial cities, Fez, Rabat and Meknes. The setting of the city is stunning with ochre stucco buildings surrounded by the snow-peaked Atlas mountains. If you have the time, Marrakesh is definitely worth a stay of several days.
Marrakesh was founded in the 11-th century by the Almoravides. Coming from the south, from the Mauritanian desert, these fierce warriors of the faith, made a capital in the lush valley on the foot of the Atlas mountains.
Since then Marrakesh has always been one of the capitals of the Moroccan Empire, the great Rival of the Northern capital of Fes. Some Sultans prefered Fes, some Marrakesh.
In the beginning of this century the Glaoui, lord of the Atlas, became Pacha of Marrakesh.

National Park Niokolo Koba-Senegal - Africa

National Park Niokolo Koba-Senegal

National Park Niokolo Koba-Senegal

Parc National de Niokolo Koba is one of the few places in Senegal that belong to the UNESCO programme for World Heritage.
The park is open during the dry season and this is the best time to visit it cos you can apreciate animal near water courses and all.

You can go to the park with a small car but for the majority of tracks inside it, you need a 4WD car or just going there with the trucks given by the park for payed excursions.

There are many large species of animals: buffalos, hartebeeste, shaggy Defassa waterbuck, bushbuck, antilope harnache or guib, warthogs, crocodiles and hippos; roan antelopem wetsern giant eland. and chimpazees. Some people say lions and elephants can be rarely be seen, although my guide told me its not true. Leopards can be seen a at least 3 types of baboons can be seen also:green, gray and red ass (hehe i dont know the name of this one so red ass) baboon. You have to pay to get in. If im not wrong, me along with 3 friends, a car and a payed guide all costed about 30euros. then we stayed in Simenti Hotel for 5 euros each in small bungalows near to the monkeys playground.

Directions: The Park entrance in Dar Salam is about 70km away from Tambacounda.
