| | 15 km west of Sintra lies Cabo da Roca, Continental Europe's most westerly point. Known to the Romans as Promontorium Magnum, visitors to this wild, windy place can purchase a certificate testifying that they've been to the place where 'the land ends and the sea begins' |

| | I went to Cabo da Roca on January 2004. I have been here before a couple of times but never at a age that I now could remember. The place is amazing. Its exactly where the earth mets the sea.... Its indeed a must if you come near Lisbon or Unesco city Sintra. |

Bwana_Brown Fri Jul 7, 2006 04:17 UTC This page brings back great memories of my time there! Beautiful photos Joao! I watched the World Cup semi-final between Portugal & France yesterday. Portugal - always so close to winning for such a small country! |
