    • Its located after the town and its easily to get there. just follow the road signs.
    This water dam was constructed back in 1977 and had to be defended by many people to be built. This now consists on the main and most important thing in the area which gives water to plantations and feed animals.

    • This bridge is located after the water dam and is quite dificult to be found. It has 15th century construction and used to connect Alandroal-Terena, serving the main route to enter and go out of the country towards Spain.

    • Between 1503 and 150 this church was not known has Igreja da Boa Nova but from St. Maria de Terena.
    Old legends tell this church was built by the order of The Queen of Castela, D. Maria, wife of Afonso XI, and daughter of D.Afonso IV "O Bravo" (The Brave). This was built here because she was told a very good news in the place. The news that she would get military help which was before denied in Evora royal council.
    Now is a national monument.

    • This is how does the sanctuary looks from inside. Sometimes it can be dficult ot go inside cos not everyday people are taking care of it. There was this lady that guided us inside and told us a breaf history of the building.

    • People are the most off the beathen path in town. They almost run away from you. I don't really know what going on with them. its almost impossible to establish any type of contact with them. If you say hell they just dont say a thing. strange...
