Lamin Koto

Lamin Koto is located right on the other side of the Island of Janjabureh also know as Georgetown. To go from Georgetown to Lamin Koto, you have to take a ferry boat that will make you go out of the Island of Janjabureh. You pay 1000CFA since the Gambian law change for tourist, and now we have to pay ferries in the country with foreign currency.

This is a picture of the ferry boat that will depart from Janjabureh and head straign north the river to the north bank in Lamin Koto.

The river Gambia

The river is known largely because of The Gambia, the smallest country in Africa, which consists of little more than half the river and its two banks.
