We visited the islands located off of Trang, in southern Thailand. It takes a little while to get there. First, we took the night train to Hat Yai. From there, we found a mini-bus that took us to the town of Trang. I think that was about 1.5 hours. From Trang, you still have about a 45-minute trip to the place where you catch the 30-45 minute ferry ride to the islands. But once you get there, it's all worth it! You just have to plan for the extra travel time... |
