Take the "Föri" Ferry

The Föri is the name of a little passenger Ferry on the River Aura. From the ferry you have a nice view on some beautiful sailing boats and the riverbanks. Take also a walk on the riverbank and step into one of the boats where you can dine or take a drink.

The Turku Castle

Turku Castle, dating from the 1280s, is a monument of Finnish history. It was built as an administrative stronghold for the Swedish crown. Since then it has hosted 14 kings and was the absolute centre for administrative and cultural life, today it holds the city museum which presents local history and scale models.
