Nightlife Spot: Coffeeshops

First off let me tell you that the Dutch have indeed perfected the art of growing cannabis.
For you sceptical ones out there let me tell you, Dutch cannabis is soooooooo strong and so very potent. There are over 300 coffee shops in Amsterdam. Obvisley i didn't vist all 300 coffee shops but i did visit a fair amount. Not all of them are good but i did find the best ones in my opinon.

This next coffee shop that i visited was the very first coffee shop that i found out about Amsterdams tollerance towards cannabis smokers. I walked up to the table were the dealer was and asked for the menu; it was such unfortunate news when the dealer told me that they didn't have any in stock. Apearently they contained alot more hash and cannabis than they were suppose to by Dutch law, and once such a law is broken they get penalized and everything they have in stock as far as cannabis and hash gets taken away for a certain period of time which was (i believe) one week. i was sad to hear that but at least i visited the one coffee shop that made me want to come to Amsterdam in the first place. Was really hopping to try that mIt was all good because Global Chillage was like two blocks away. So i carried on.

Ladies & gentlemen behold, to the left of the screen your are witnessing pure keiff. Yes a little sprinkle of this in your spliff and your are headed for a nonestop space galactict trip; atleast for about an hour. What sucks about it is that it takes you high really high but fades alot quicker. But it's great stuff. I found this in the Grey Area Coffee shop. For those of you who don't know what keiff is it's pure THC, the main active ingrident found in cannabis. It's the powdery substance to the right of the picture.

I have to say that the Dampkring is by far the best coffee shop, in my opinion.

I remember walking on Singel on my second day in Amsterdam, continuing my journey on the search to discover as many coffee shops as i could. I decided to take a look at my map and see what coffee shop was close to me and i saw that the Dampkring was closest to me so that was next on my list. I walked up the street and saw it. I have to say that once you see a coffee shop in real life, it feels so weird, it almost feels as if your in wonderland, like a dream. I opended the door and walked in through the door. I noticed alot of people sitting in the bar having a heniken, others were sipping hot chocolete, and the remaining majority were smoking pot, freely. i headed straight to the dealer's front counter and noticed that the menu was right in front of me. I greeted the two Dutch dealers and began looking at the menu. I couldn't believe the selection they had and what was cool about there menu was that it was also a chart camparison as to what type of feeling you'l get, it's also rated by stars five being the strongest and obvisoly one being the least strong although i didn't see any ones, two, or three's, they were all top notch gear. Before i even got to the menu i noticed a large splif sitting in the counter.

The Dutch dealer asked me what i liked to smoke, i was overwhelmed by the question so i don't remember what i said. He offered me a hit and i accepted. i lifted the twenty five gram joint up, he assisted me by lighting it, i took a genourous hit, held it inside for a bit and exhaled. WOW, let me tell you that was the strongest joint i have ever smoked in my life. I kid you not once i exhaled less than a half a minute i felt as if i was going to pass out. I was so stoned. The two dealers were asking me if i was ok, i think i told them i was fine. I remember one of the dealers telling me that i was as white as a ghost. I began sweating, hard core. The other dealer steped out of the counter and headed for the bar, he came back with some sugar candy and told me to eat it and i should feel better. Rest assure i didn't pass out. It was very intense. I will never forget that day. Anyways i stood back in line and purchased my cannabis and tipped them genourously. I bought a lighter from there to remind me of that day.

Nightlife Spot: Dancing

After spending a good day in my favorite coffee shop the dampkring, i decided to head back to my hotel and get some munchies, I had already stocked up on some at a local Dutch liquer/market. As i was walking back it was prity dark outside, in the middle of Damsquare i noticed a big crowd gathered around some corner mall watching someone spin, who ever is was i really was diggin his beats, so i decided to take a closer look and join the enourmous crowd and take a closer look at who this mystery dj may be. i walked up, joined the crowd of beautiful girls and noticed that it was Armin Van Buuren spinning live. Man i was sooooo stoned i just stood there thinking i was in another galaxy with the all so sutlle trance beats causing my mind to wonder off, thinking of a million things when i was really thinking of nothing at all. I stood there for a long time and just watched the pro spin. He was spinning some very good trance. i went in the mall, picked me up his cd (22 euros), totally worth it. Of course had to take a pic of the moment, observe the state of trance himself to your left

Ok if you guys are looking for some pre-mo dank then you need to hit up this coffee shop.
The Grey Area. This little place is such a kick back joint. They got beverages and a few snacks if in case you get the munchies. It's a usuall joint for the locals because of the well known cannabis and other cannabis related smoking products they contain. These guy's can even hook you up with some kieff. The dealer was a very cool guy that really likes tokin it up. This joint is known for there Double Bubble Gum strand. Best gear they got, smells super fruity like juicey fruit (no bull ***), only way to smoke it is by rolling it in a spliff with a few sprinkles of kieff and "by George" i'm sure you'll find something to do at the Dam.
