  I think your friend was having a joke on you.. those are deep fried eels. :D Padang is a predominantly Muslim region and reptiles aren't considered 'halal' (kosher)..

  Hi.. great pictures, I were in Ragunan Zoo in 2000, when albino tiger attack by Fatal Feline Parvovirus... good to know that it is not Padang Food Fried Gecko it was a kind of fresh water fish: a deep FRIED EEL

  there's a new resto called lara jonggrang nearby oasis [in jalan cik di tiro]. axel, esmeralda, nicholas and i had tried .... nice, romantic but .... spooky!!!!! it used to be a hospital ......
