Another place I've called home...

Pictures coming soon

If you've already seen my Santa Monica pages and my PCH pages and my Catalina pages, then you probably know how much I love LA. I love everything about it. EVERYTHING! I do remember though, when I was 14 or 15 we went to Anaheim and up to Redondo to see my Uncle Kenny, and I decided then that I hated Los Angeles. I had had fun and I loved visiting my uncle, but I swore I would never go back.
What is it about people's first impression of LA? It seems almost everyone I've ever talked to hates LA after their first trip. I just want to say to everyone who thinks that LA is the worst place in California- go back! Give it a second chance! I did and I fell in love- I never wanted to leave- I drove to LA from Vegas at least twice a week just to drive in the traffic and sit on the beach.
I moved there finally- in Aug. 1998. I only lived there until December but I loved every second of it.

I worked all the time and when I had a day off I always went to the same places. I never got to see many of the great attractions that LA has to offer.

I'm always ready to hop in the car and drive out there for a few days. If I could talk my husband into it- I'd probably end up in the same places though; The Promenade, Malibu beach, Manhattan Beach, visiting my Uncle Kenny and Patti, and I'd have to grab some coffee at the Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf or Borders on the Promenade- and I'd make sure to eat at Coo coo Roo's (I don't know why I love this place so much.)
