Cambodia, Siem Reap 2004 | Two monks posing for another camera |
In May 2004 we visited Siem Reap, mainly because we wanted to see the great temples there. We hired a tuktuk driver,a one eyed man named Mr. Da for a few days. We managed to visit atleast 20 temples, such as Angkor Wat, Angkor Thom, Banteay Kdei, Banteay Samre, Bayon and the Roluos and Bang Melea temples further away. |
| | Monk Siet In Roluos we were invited into a monastery, to a monks house. The monk introduced himself as Siet and showed us around the monastery and told about his life as a monk. He was learning english in the monastery and was happy when he was able to practise with us. |
