Wanganui - New Zealand

Hi there, my name is Jo and I live in Wanganui (aka "The River City"), North Island, New Zealand.
Wanganui is located on the West Coast of the North Island and is about 400 kms south of Auckland and 150kms north west of our capital city, Wellington.
A large part of the region is included in the Whanganui National Park, through which flows the Whanganui River, New Zealand's longest navigable waterway.
The climate in summer can reach 30 degrees and be as low as 9 degrees in winter....to compensate the extreme weather, Castlecliff beach is only 5 kilometres from the centre of town, as for the winter, well you just need to put on warmer clothes...lol.
