The no. 1 "hanging out" place in Panglao, Bohol | Late afternoon in Alona Beach |
A long white, sandy beach. A lot of good dive sites up and down the coast and around Balicasag Island. Numerous dive operators to choose from. A lot of good restaurants offering local food, international food and BBQ. A couple of good bars - e.g. Safety Stop and Oops! Bar. Easy access to Taclibaran, Chocolate Hills and local nature (rivers, jungle, farmland and that kind of stuf u know ;o)
Do I need to say more? I planned to stay for a week and ended up being there for three weeks. And I'll be back next season. |
