Where to buy backpacking, outdoor, mountaineering equipement in Prague...
-network of "Hudysport" shops, good product range, known to be more expensive. As assistants in different shops are different and network is franacheesing based, some shops are for example more mountaineering oriented, other more for "common people".

- Humisport - HUMI sport, Martinska 2, 110 00 Praha 1. Comparable with Hudy. If you buy equipment which their sister company HUMI Outdoor produce, best from them. http://www.humi.cz/
- Alpinus - big new shop next to Humi in Martinska.
- I usualy shop at internet shop Bartsport - www.bartsport.cz. They're cheaper. In theory its possible to arrange physical visit in their sale storage, Terronská 28, Praha 6 Bubenec.

- ABCsport, Moskevská 74, Praha 10 - Vrsovice, www.abc-sport.cz. Smaller range of goods, but if they have same thing, it's cheaper than in HUDY for example.

What to buy: Some equipement produced in Czechia are very good quality and good price, superior price/value ratio. I can only reccoment tents from "JUREK S+R" company, cooking equipement from "VAR". Sleeping bags from "Sir Joseph" are said to be superior quality.
