Who stole all the color? - Whitsunday Islands

For any backpacker visiting Australia or for ANYONE visiting Australia for that matter a Whitsundays sailing adventure is mandatory! The 3 day two night adventure on board the British Defender was likely my most memorable experience from the Land Down Under. Cutting through the waves like a hot knife through butter, landing on isolated white sand beaches and spending the night in cozy coves being rocked to sleep by the ocean is absolutely unforgettable and should not be missed by anyone who finds themselves on the well worn tourist path of Australia's east coast.

You definately get to see alot of the Whitsunday Archipelago,sure most of it is from the deck of a boat but I doubt you'll be complaining. Plus you'll still get to experience the stunning sands of White Haven beach, Snorkel with Giant Wrasse at Cayman Island and sip on sweet cocktails at South Mole Island. When you're not busy doing these fun activities you'll get to know your fellow crewmates better and better! The adventure itself is a bonding experience and you'll be sure to make lasting friendships and you'll ,no doubt, be reminiscing about this trip for the rest fo your life.

Great page!! The Whitsundays are beautiful!!! We did a bareboat (skipper yourself) trip in 2003...it was fantastic!!! :)
