Beit She'an National Park features remains of the ancient Roman city Scythopolis . When excavations started, archeologists discovered 20 cultural layers on site.
It's a fascinating place where theatre sitting 7000 spectators at times, bath houses, interesting pawements and even ancient public toilets are on display.

Pros and Cons

Pros:Fascinating ancient site, actually whole city is there.
Cons:Open area, so very hot at summer time.
In a nutshell:Ancient city comes alive.
