  Ali, I can't tell you the meaning of that tall pagoda at the wenshu monastary, but i do remember that it was the pagoda of a thousand buddha faces, which represents the different forms/incarnations. take care, bc

  This is a scene one sees over and over in China. In fact it is not limited to China. It is so much a human thing throughout the world. Although Chinese seem to embrace it whole heartedly.
