In 1994 we crossed Mozambique by the ''corridor route'' traveling from Blantyre in Malawi to Harare in Zimbabwe by public transport. The distance in Mozambique we had to drive was 200 KM. We didn't have opportunities to stop and look around. So what we would see of Mozambique was through the windows of the bus and at the borders. At every border we needed three hours for the formalities.
When we had to cross a river in Mozambique, the road was blocked, because they decided just that day to rig a wrecked truck out of the river. So we were happy to have the possibility to get out of the bus and look around for a while. |

Could we travel there? | Nemorino Wed Jul 13, 2005 20:33 UTC Too bad you didn't get to see more of Mozambique. My daughter used to work there, in Maputo, and we had a great visit there a couple of years ago. -- Did he eat the egg? Raw? |
