I travelled twice to Algeria.
In 1993 we rounded the Big Western Erg ( Ain Sefra, Beni- Abbes, Timimoun, El Golea, Ghardaia).
Beautifull oasis-towns and sanddunes
In dec 2001/jan 2002 I visited Djanet and Tassili d'Ajjer.
Breathtaking landscape and interesting rock paintings.

Hello, Ali!~ Thanks for your interesting page! ><><><><
Couchsurfers had an A to Z Potluck, but i finally opted for a Armenian based Veggie platter ;-)))
I can't believe I haven't looked at your Algeria pages before. I shall be off to look at the indiviual ones now. :-) Great stuff as always.
lovely tips Ali on a very interesting destination. will visit your individual pages too. was this organised by a travel agency or you did it on your own?
Fascinating. Would love to visit Algeria - maybe now things are more settled it will be easier. Like you I found I Eberhart's story most intriguing. leyle

Another great page you have produced. One day I will visit Algeria.
Wow! You really have seen and experienced a lot of Algeria! I loved that doorway in Bou Saada with its 'azulejo' tiles. It would be amazing to see those huge sand dunes and to experience the Sahara like you did!
Beautiful page, Ali!! Your pix and tips are superb and very interesting!! Thanks :)
