East of Bcharre in northern Lebanon lies the ski resort the Cedars , just a few KMs away from the famous grove of cedar trees. At 2100 to 2900 M the Cedars is the highest of the six ski resorts in Lebanon. The season is from November till April. In the Cedars ski resort, a small village, are some hotels, shops and four slopes with skilifts (from beginner to intermediate). When we visited the resort end April, the last snow on the slopes was melting.
