My grandparents went to Guatemala in 1942 on the occasion of his retirement. I remember hearing about it from them when I was a small child, and it sounded incredibly exotic.

  Don, 1942 that's long ago ! It must be a quite different Guatemala in those days. I even saw differences between my visit in 1987 and when I came back in 2006. Updates are not finished yet. Thanks for rating my tips.

Nice to be the first to visit your Guatamala page...I remember that market in chichecastanango. the fruit and vegetables were colour enough before the clothes of the Guatamalan wmen was added...
