Bawiti Hotel Tips by sachara

From this lodge you can easy walk in the palmeraie. To the main road in Bawiti is a small walk.
The inner yard of the hotel looks nice with warm orange colours and is rather cool.
The rooms of this newly opened lodge were extremely hot, but maybe they have fixed it now with the fans and airco.
There is a buffet breakfast included.
They can arrange a buffet dinner for 5 dollar.

It was a long journey from Siwa to Bawiti.
After an (at the last checkpoint telegraphic ordered) diner at Bayoumi's we arrived at Bir-al Ghaba for a bath in this hot spring in the moonlight at eleven.
The campsite near the spring was rather crowded and there was a party going on, so we -very tired of the long journey- decided to drive into the desert for 15 minutes to look for a tranquil place between the sanddunes.
A nice night in the thousands-star-hotel, I can recommend.
