| under water life in Ras Mohammed NP |
The Sinai desert is spectacular, but coming to Sharm el Sheik and Na'ama bay means enjoying the beach, the sea and the most of all the underwater life. Just in front of the beach you can allready see the corals and colourful fishes, but visiting the coral rifs in the Ras Mohammed National Park is really breathtaking. |

| | sea, sand and desert For our first visit to Sharm al Sheik in 1996 we had chosen for the small Oasis hotel at the northern end of Na'ama bay. From our hotel we could directly out of our room go for a walk in the desert. |
After 11 years we came back to Na'ama bay and found out that the town was exploded. Not only with many more hotels, restaurants and shoppingmalls, but at the edge of the desert we saw also that many new housing areas were built and many more are under construction. The view at the desert from our former hotel was totally disappeared behind blocks of houses.
This time we were happy we made again the right choice for another hotel, the Helnan Marina at the southern end of the bay. From our balcony we had a splendid view at the bay, but also at the same mountains like in 1996, though this time as background behind the town. | | | view from our balcony of our hotel in 2007 |
