The most african island of Cape Verde Santiago is a beautifull island with mountains, green valleys, banana-plantations, bays and beaches.
In the south of this biggest island of archipelago is Praia, the capital of Cape Verde. Near Praia is situated Cidade Velha (=old capital) with old buildings/ruins from the 16th century.
In the north is the fairy-like bay of Tarrafal. |
