Restaurant Name: La Grande Mosquée de Paris
The complex of the mosque of Paris includes a North African tearoom and restaurant. I visited the lovely inner garden with figues trees and fountains of this teahouse for the first time in the early nineties. Early morning I was almost the only visitor drinking my mint tea in a serene atmosphere. The last time in 2005 I visited the innergarden in the late afternoon. It was very lifely with lots of visitors. The teahouse and restaurant decorated in North African style are open from 9am till 11.30pm. You can come for a tea or arabian coffee with sweets, for a snack, for lunch or dinner. The menu offers delicious tajines and couscous.

Restaurant Name: Paris plage
In the summertime I walked along the Paris Plage in the evening and was surprised about the loads of people, families, students and others who were picknicking at the beach. It is a great ambiance with wonderful views at the Seine. Away from the traffic, life music playing at several places and kids can play in the sand.
Favorite Dish: People did bring theirselves their drinks, bread, salads and other snacks. Most picnics looked very delicious and inviting to join.
