Outstanding page and pictures. Very different world than I have already visited.
My grandfather & his siblings all went to boarding school in Darjeeling, he was recently telling me about them using the toy train for their journey to & from Dehli. I would love to visit this area, interesting page Ali, like the washerwoman pic!
A very interesting page on your visit to this part of India - a few years ago! That toy train ride sounds like it could be an fun ride up the mountainside!
